THE NEW JLPT
If you are planning to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test this year, you'll need to make youself familiar with the new test structure, including: - More emphasis on communicative competence - 5 levels (the extra level basically fits between the old Level 3 and Level 2) - Maximum scores even for each section - A "Can Do List" to accompany results
Further information on the changes can be found below and at the official JLPT website.
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is held worldwide every year to evaulate and certify the proficiency in Japanese of non-native speakers. The test has been held annually since 1984.
In Australia, the test is held in Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
JAFA administers the test in Adelaide with the assistance of the Japan Foundation.
