"A bōnenkai (忘年会 literally "forget the year gathering") is a Japanese drinking party that takes place at the end of the year. The purpose of the party, as its name implies, is to forget the woes and troubles of the past year, and hopefully look to the new year."

JAFA's annual Bonenkai is fast approaching! This year we will be celebrating on Friday 11th December at Ramen & Izakaya Himeji on Grote St (just down the road from our monthly J-Kai venue).

Everyone is invited and you don't have to be a JAFA member to come along, so bring all your family and friends! This is a great opportunity to meet other JAFA members, make some new friends and enjoy delicious Japanese food in the newly-opened Himeiji restaurant.

Cost
JAFA Financial Members: $35
Non-members: $40
The cost includes a full banquet menu.
