Submissions are now being accepted for the 27th Australia-Japan Relations Essay Contest 2009.

Students from any Australian school between years 7 and 12 are eligible to enter. Prizes include a return air ticket to Japan with Japan Rail Pass and accommodation in Kyoto.

Deadline for submission is Friday, 11 September, 2009. Results will be announced in December.

The contest is conducted by the Embassy of Japan and the Consulates-General of Japan in Australia.
