SUB-COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED FOR JAPAN FESTIVAL

Would you like to gain valuable hands-on experience in event management?

Do you have an interest in Japan and Japanese culture?

Would you like to get involved and become an important member of the community?


Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival is the largest Japan festival in South Australia. While very popular and successful, it is time for the next generation to take over the organisation of the festival.

We need the help of the community to ensure the festival survives. The future of the festival depends on the establishment of a sub-committee to plan, organise and manage the festival in the years ahead.

WE NEED YOU!

Position: Volunteer sub-committee members for Kodomo no Hi festival (see list of jobs below)

Desired attributes:

Interest in Japan or Japanese culture.

Experience volunteering at or even attending "Kodomo no Hi".

Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to show initiative.

Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks and complete tasks on time.

Interest in helping to organise the festival in the medium to long-term.

Interest in contributing to the medium to long-term survival of the festival.

No specialist knowledge required.

People of all ages, backgrounds and people with a disability encouraged to apply.
