"Welcome to the second  edition of the monthly OGA For AID Newsletter. Our goal with this newsletter is to keep our volunteers, friends of OGA, corporate partners, the MSR Community and all concerned, informed and involved. Please feel free to share copies with your friends and community members whether in Japan or abroad.

Readers can participate by submitting articles and ideas, and share their own experiences in helping others. In addition, you can email us with your thoughts on what you would like to see from our newsletters at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

This month we have a brief summary of our 5th Annual Christmas Party and an introduction to our Inspire 3.11 Campaign, 5 years after the disaster where we redefine what it means to volunteer. We also have a volunteer feature from David Iguaz and an introduction to Place to Grow's Veggie Box!

Best,
Norman Grant, HR, Membership and Volunteer Manager

Special thanks go out to Chihiro Yoshida for designing the newsletter logo, Saya Matsumoto for editing the newsletter as well as Allen Ednie and Tyler Harder for contributing to the newsletter this month. Also a special thanks to Aki Koshizuka, Kaoru Yamada and Jacky Scanlan-Dyas for preparing the Japanese translation."
